You will act as the technical lead for all process troubleshooting, debottlenecking and concept/feasibility projects delivered by the Malaysia Asset Optimisation practice.

You will lead, motivate, and build a strong team which will deliver sustained business growth around the Asset Optimisation core services of dynamic simulation, pipeline simulation, process troubleshooting and debottlenecking and RAM.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing corrosion and metallurgical expertise in identified failure modes and failure mechanisms.
Transmission & Distribution Services (T&DS) provide a range of consultancy services covering feasibility, design, operation, maintenance and integrity engineering associated with transmission and distribution pipelines, pressure reduction off-takes, district governor installations, LP/HP storage and metering.
Our primary aim is to support our customers in ensuring their networks are fit for purpose and are operated safely in compliance with both regulatory and business requirements. We also lead in front end technological innovation and the development of best practice to assist our customers in achieving business goals through asset optimisation and performance efficiencies.
To satisfy our customer requirements T&DS has dedicated teams covering pipelines, plant & equipment, electrical & instrumentation, civil & structural, metering, network operations & quality assurance.
Due to the diverse nature of what we do in T&DS, our specialists come from a variety of backgrounds.
Typically however, as a graduate you would bring a degree and a passion for either Mechanical, Electrical / Instrumentation or Civil / Structural Engineering. In addition we also have teams where a degree in Mathematics / Statistics or Chemical Engineering would be extremely advantageous too.
Whichever of these routes you are coming from, you will relish the challenge of juggling the delivery of multiple projects, applying your skills to approach engineering or abstract concepts in an analytical and rigorous way, problem solving and providing solutions to enhance performance, reduce costs or improve service for our customers.
To succeed you'll need an inquisitive mind, possess a passion for ongoing personal development and desire to enhance your skills, knowledge and expertise to become either a technical expert, a manager of technical projects or maybe a leader of a team within your chosen field.
