In order to assist GL Noble Denton meet its ambitious growth targets, we are currently looking for a DP Engineer/Surveyor.

The Surveyor Provides a range of advanced equipment analysis and assessment services to the oil and gas industry, using a comprehensive range of knowledge and hands-on experience for survey/analysis of offshore marine vessels of all types. The Surveyor will provide support to the global and Houston DP service unit.  This role will hold responsibility for the delivery of projects and reports for specific customers in a timely fashion. The surveyor will take ownership as a contributor in the continual development of an organizational culture that fosters teamwork.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:

Technical / Professional Expertise

. Licensed Marine Professional in Engineering or Deck related areas of expertise
. Experience in vessel operations or related field with hands-on experience

Competency Requirements

. Right First Time Delivery - is highly resilient, works with pace, focus and optimism to overcome obstacles and deliver commercial solutions
. Ability to work within tight deadlines
. Ability to completely undertake technical activities with limited supervision
. Excellent communication skills-including the ability to write clear and concise reports
. Strong operational Analysis background with preferred experience in hand-on operation of various DP related equipment
. Familiarity with industry codes/standards, including international and industry recommended practices
. Flexibility in working hours and being able to travel internationally when required
