In order to assist GL Noble Denton meet its ambitious growth targets, we are currently looking for a Senior Electric Software Engineer.
The Senior Electric Software Engineer will provide analytical and technical computational services to the Global Software Business. This will require expertise in power engineering of electric distribution and transmission systems. This position will take primary technical responsibility for maintenance, innovation and advancement of the SynerGEE Electric ® software product line, specifically the engineering analytics, including electrical network analysis, equipment behavior modeling, demand forecasting, optimization, reliability analysis, etc.
To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:
. Doctorate or Masters in Electrical Engineering with a power engineering emphasis
. Advanced numerical methods, statistical methods, and power system theory
. Desired C++ programming knowledge and experience, Windows platform technologies, database technology and SQL
. Team lead or project management experience is a plus, including scope, schedule, and risk management, team development, and customer interaction
. Possesses strong communication skills, effectively able to communicate with a diverse range of personality types
. Exceptional problem solving ability
. Excellent organizational skills and able to maintain accurate and detailed records
. Possesses well-developed reasoning and problem solving skills
. Ability to instruct and guide other technical personnel
. Capable of functioning in a demanding and fast-paced working environment
