In order to assist GL Noble Denton meet its ambitious growth targets, we are currently looking for a Regional Contracts Engineer.
This role is to provide support to operational teams, preparing and reviewing contract terms (relating to consultancy and contracting work), undertaking the formal contract review process and supporting the negotiation of related contracts. Experience of developing and negotiating commercial contracts in an engineering consultancy context, ranging from straightforward single entity to the complex multiple vendors is required.
. Provide support, advice and process to operational and / or functional groups
. Develop and promote a culture of contractual awareness throughout the region
. In conjunction with corporate guidance, prepare MOU's and Heads of Agreements and negotiate the same with partners / clients
. Conduct legal review of clients terms and conditions of business in accordance with company contract review procedure
. Attend company Risk Review Committee meetings
. Liaise with Group Legal / Insurance
. Active involvement in pre-award negotiations
. Finalise terms and conditions for main contract and expedite contract signature
. Client facing contract negotiation
. Oversee and contract administrate all major engineering and project management projects
. Support Project Managers when dealing with claims and change order issues
. Administer and control all changes orders and status whether rejected, accepted, under discussion or disputed
. Keep and update a Master List of all contracts awarded within the region over stipulated financial value
. Develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external clients and various support functions within the company
To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:
. Degree qualified in General Business or Engineering
. Experience in the oil/gas/maritime industry
. Experience in developing and negotiating commercial contracts in an engineering consultancy context, ranging from straightforward single entity to complex multiple vendors is required.
