In order to assist GL Noble Denton meet its ambitious growth targets, we are currently looking for a Global Head of Software Product Development.

Software is strategic and a key differentiator for GLND. Software supports and drives revenue growth through two equally important streams:
. revenues generated by the implementation and support of GLND software solutions
. consulting revenues generated through the use of world class software tools
The Head of the Global Head of Software Product Development Business is responsible for the development of software products and second level support, along with overseeing the full integration of the required Tools and Products as identified in the global software strategy. The tools and products will be used by the regional consulting businesses and software solutions will be sold, implemented and supported (first level) through the Global Software Solutions Practice.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:

Technical / Professional Expertise

. Degree educated
. Analytical, conceptual
. Strong organizational and people skills
. Minimum of 10 years experience
. Strong IT technology skills
. Experience in software product development ideally within the energy and water industry.
. Experience of working in a multi-site and global business environment

Competency Requirements

. Strong leadership capability - proven experience of building high-performing teams spread globally
. The ability to facilitate and lead change in a new business environment/country
. Personal ambition and self-motivation to drive the software development business forward with minimum supervision within agreed and directed task boundaries.
. Commercial Acumen - Demonstrates strong analytical and commercial understanding. Ability to develop and deliver to robust business plans
. Integrated Working - Collaborates effectively across internal departments and globally within GLIS to achieve swift and co-ordinated   delivery of results.
. Influencing with Impact - Presents winning arguments with passion, conviction and commercial credibility. 
. Good organisation and planning skills - is able to develop implementation plans and maintain pace
. Analytical skills to understand detailed processes and capture tacit knowledge
