You will act as the technical lead for all hydraulic consulting and flow assurance projects delivered by the Malaysia Asset Optimisation practice and provide leadership and build a strong team for the delivery of Asset Optimisation projects.
The role of the Senior Consultant is to support the Asset Optimisation Manager to develop and grow the hydraulic consulting and flow assurance service in line with the Asset Optimisation business plan. In this role the Senior Consultant will be expected to take the lead in business development working across the region to identify new opportunities. Key accountabilities will include:-
People: Lead, motivate and develop Practice team members. Direct resources and ensure effective management of budget, cost, delivery and quality. Solve capacity constraints and ensure full utilisation of employees within Malaysia practice. Responsible for working with stakeholders to fulfil resourcing requirements in the Malaysia practice. Manage requests for knowledge/skills in Malaysia. Support the Asset Optimisation Manager in developing career paths, skills profiles and training programmes in Malaysia.
Delivery/Practice Offerings: Work with the Asset Optimisation Manager to develop the single and muiltiphase simulation service line. Taking the lead for all projects in this area, developing proposals, training staff and providing project technical governance.
Sales Pipeline: Supports the Asset Optimisation Manager and Asia Pacific Country Managers in identifying, developing and closing qualified opportunities with customers and accounts.
Customer Relationships: Develop and manage strong customer relationships and support Asset Optimisation Manager and Country Managers in establishing GL Noble Denton as a 'Trusted Advisor' in the area of hydraulic consulting and flow assurance. Generates and follows up proposals for work as well as responding to customer requests.
Positioning: Work closely with Asset Optimisation Manager and Country Managers to develop a clear understanding of our customers current and emerging business needs and in the definition of GL Noble Denton services to meet these needs.
People: Work closely and collaboratively with Principal consultants and Practice management team to deliver the agreed targets of the Practice.
Reporting: Produce effective internal or customer reports on a regular basis and present results to clients when necessary.
