Due to increased workload, an exciting opportunity now exists for an exceptional mechanical engineer to join our Condition Monitoring team delivering and supporting ongoing projects and related activities. This is a fantastic developmental opportunity for a mechanical engineer to work alongside our other condition monitoring engineers on a variety of challenging customer projects and contribute to the continuing growth of the team.
We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer to work with our team delivering and supporting ongoing engineering projects and related maintenance activities.
- Successful management of client condition monitoring programs, delivering consistent and effective technical and commercial solutions to clients
- Routine Condition Monitoring data collection, analysis and database configuration
- Trouble shooting vibration problems
- Machinery acceptance testing
- Condition Monitoring / Condition Based Maintenance training course preparation and presentation
- Identification and development of opportunities to expand and improve scope of services
- Training of clients in Condition Monitoring Techniques
- Management of Condition Monitoring department storage areas and equipment
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:
Technical / Professional Expertise
- Mechanical engineering background with demonstrable experience of rotating equipment
- Evidence of industrial machinery maintenance
- Machinery Vibration Analysis knowledge and experience desirable
- Evidence of producing high quality technical reports for customers
- Computer literate with excellent IT skills including experience of MS Office programmes
- Condition Monitoring IT package knowledge desirable
- Relevant Engineering qualification (minimum HNC level)
- Flexibility to stay offshore for various periods of time
