Our Process Engineering team provides technical support and consultancy to the international Oil & Gas and LNG industries. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside other Process Engineering experts, providing specialist consultancy on a variety of challenging customer projects.
The role will cover conceptual, feasibility and front end design studies through to debottlenecking and troubleshooting of operational assets for offshore platforms, pipelines, gas processing terminals and LNG facilities.
- Delivering process engineering projects on Oil & Gas facilities to customer satisfaction
- Produce high quality technical reports, data and other documentation for customers as required
- Build and develop strong customer relationships, establishing GL Noble Denton as a "Trusted Advisor", developing understanding of customer's current/emerging needs to ensure our solutions meet client needs
- Operating within formal QA standards and project procedures
- Depending on relevant experience and abilities, responsible for ensuring technical quality in the appropriate field(s), and being the custodian for methodologies, associated software and processes
- Developing new business including initiating and closing out proposals
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:
Technical / Professional Expertise
- Possesses Chemical/Process Engineering degree. Chartered Engineer or working towards member status of IChemE
- Process engineering background in oil and gas or LNG, ideally in a consultancy or design company
- demonstrable experience in natural gas treatment using silica gel or molecular sieve adsorption to support the company's ADAPT technology business
- Proven experience in process modelling, techno-economic analysis, availability/reliability modelling, debottlenecking, flow assurance, performance improvement or conceptual/FEED work also beneficial
- Ability to use RAM modelling, process modelling (HYSYS) or flow assurance (OLGA) software
- Advanced IT skills including proficient Excel skills.
