Position details:

Operational Management

• P&L responsibility for the unit with approx € 10 m turnover
• Active sales work in the areas Oil & Gas and Offshore Engineering, preparation of account plans and responsibility for order intake
• Resource Management (disciplinary responsibility, recruiting, training, utilisation and monitoring of inspectors
• Financial responsibility according to a defined scope and the prevailing divisional authority matrix
  

Optimisation of the cooperation with the international GL group network

• Increase of cooperation in particular with GL units in the major Oil & Gas markets Middle East/Africa, Russia/CIS, UK, Norway

Quality management in line with corporate guidelines

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:

Technical / Professional Expertise

• Degree qualified in Engineering
• Capability to manage an operation in technical/professional, commercial and organizational respect
• Extensive knowledge of the energy business (preferably Oil & Gas, Offshore Engineering and related industries)
• German to mother tongue level, English business fluent
