GL Noble Denton provides consulting and operations services for different types of marine operations, marine warranty, marine consulting, marine casualty investigation, marine operations and dynamic positioning.
Our Cairo office is currently looking for a broadly seasoned professional to manage Marine and Offshore operational activities inclusive of but not limited to: MWS project management, rig moves, load-outs, a variety of marine surveys, sail-away and towage approvals, DP assurance, sub-sea structure installation along with other offshore oil and gas field development related operations.
Key accountabilities:
. Lead, manage and motivate the Cairo marine team in day to day activities.
. Control all aspects of the offshore marine projects ensuring all work undertaken is technically and administratively correct.
. Develop, plan and execute marine and offshore operations.
. Write procedures and work instructions for above operations.
. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and ensuring office profit performance is maximized, marine contract and overall budgets are monitored at all stages from bid stage to completion.
. Interface with clients, employees and 3rd parties to ensure optimal work compliance with recognized Quality Assurance standards and company brand protection policies.
. Ensure the marine team's welfare, safety at work, motivation and output will deliver the consistently high standard of service and satisfaction the group seeks to provide to its clients.
. Develop plans for the capture of new and profitable business to further expand development in Cairo and North Africa.
To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:
. The ideal candidate will hold Master Mariner Class 1 - foreign going certification
. In depth knowledge of the Offshore Industry
. Extensive jack-up rig move, warranty consultancy & project management experience
. Previous exposure to inspections, audits, surveys, DP Assurance and MCI an advantage
. Strong leadership and project management skills.
. Energetic and self motivated with a good sense of humour.
. Innovative, and result orientated with strong interpersonal & organizational skills.
. Ability to administer multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
. Excellent presentations and communications skills
