GL Noble Denton provides consulting and operations services for different types of marine operations: marine warranty, marine consulting, marine casualty investigations, marine operations and dynamic positioning.

We are currently looking for talented Marine Mariners / Surveyors for our Mumbai office.

Reporting to the Marine Manager you will join a team of professionals with an established and recognized expertise in marine and offshore consultancy.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Carry out suitability and condition surveys of vessels and rigs.
  • Execute marine warranty survey (MWS) project work including load outs, transportation and towage approvals.
  • Marine inspections, DP assurance, MCI and independent audits.
  • Preparation of quotes, verification and marine consultancy support.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes:

Technical / Professional Expertise

  • Must hold Master Mariner Class 1 foreign going certification.
  • Proven track record in relevant offshore experience within marine sector.
  • Additional hands-on exposure to pilotage, rig moving, vessel inspections, DP and/or warranty surveys would be a significant advantage.

Competency Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and client facing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (word and Excel).
  • Excellent English communications and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Technically and commercially astute.
